Summer is here and that means it's time to find ways to keep everyone busy. It's easy to say its vacation time , but honestly most of us will keep working through the summer with maybe a week or a few days off in between. I can't help but think that we all need just a little break even at home.
I remember as a kid my mom would give me a crochet hook and yarn or some scrap fabric with a needle and thread. Often I'd end up in my mothers button box, oh the possibilities are endless with a box of buttons!
Sime of my fondest memories are of the times my mother pulled out a piece of butcher paper, put us in an old dad sized shirt, and stuck us out back with some finger paint. I don't remember what I painted but I remember it was fun. Those were the days that shaped my creativity!
There is nothing like a summer camp or Vacation Bible school project to break up the boredom. So this summer I've come up with some fun ideas to make new memories for my kids and my customers. The 923 Kids Craft series will be a held throughout the summer. This is an opportunity for kids to come create have some fun and make memories.
I searched the internet to find some fun projects. From pony bead jewelry to popsicle stick frames, we will have some classic projects throughout the summer.
Air dry clay and yarn art, Stuffed animals, paper collage, cardboard weaving, and so much more. It's going to be a great summer. I hope you can stop by create and make memories with us.
