Pop ups in the the spring time are so fun. While the sun is shining, folks get to browse and find makers treasures. I love how although there are similar products, everyone has their own twist to a classic. From modern to rustic, new to old, there is something for everyone.
I took a walk around our small corner here at 47K Marketplace and met some really wonderful creatives. I met young 12 year old Adelyn, owner of Bombs Away, attending her first pop up, selling her signature Hot Coco Bombs and Candy Bombs. They look so yummy you know I had to snatch some up. Her grandmother, right next door promoting her book "This was not on my Bucket List". Generational creativity is amazing to see.
Light House paper, had some super cute cards, and hand printed fabrics. One of my favorites was Kortney and her Junk Journals, it's amazing what you can do with a paper, a little lace and time.
923 Fabrics & Crafts was the house too! Sampling our amazing inventory, County Print Fabrics, Springtime inspired papers and Stamps, and a wonderful collection of sport weight yarns.
Just a preview before our grand opening next month.- I just slipped that in there didn't I- That's right we are opening our retail store Next Month! So stay tuned.
Jewelry, Pottery, cards, soap, home decor. You name it there is something here for you. The vibe was so chill and despite the cool breeze everyone was excited with smiles to share.
Beyond all of the fantastic vendors, our host 47K Marketplace is chock full of artisan pieces. What a great way to spend your afternoon! Mat and Kay have been fantastic hosts, and we look forward to our continued relationship.
Makers take note... this is the spot to be!
